You may be surprised but every community has dozens of children that “fall thru the cracks” at Christmas time; most often due to economics and family trauma. We are looking at a proven project where kids under a certain age get to shop for their very own presents. They get a picture with Santa, a bite to eat, face painting by local students and the mom’s get flowers! And all of this occurs with the help of your local Wal Mart store!

An Update!

“Well you may have already heard about this tremendously successful project??!! With time working against us we set out to raise some tax deductible dollars to sponsor a few kids to go shopping at Wal Mart. We thought that in this short period of time that we could raise enough funding for about 25 children. We were wrong, as our members quickly raised sufficient funding for 100 kids! They all showed up early one Sunday morning in December. In addition to shopping for their very own presents, with our help, they were also treated to pictures with Santa Claus (Mayor Bill in disguise!)”
